Overdue post. They all are…

This one goes into the mind a little more, thoughts I have been working on and how different things really work for people. 

This last few weeks have been a real test for me. I have had a few extra responsibilities come up that I have been very happy to take on, then also having one of the kids and I sick for a few days along with the usual busy work busy kids etc. 

During this last few extra busy weeks, I have stopped doing a few things that I have been working on a lot over the past couple of months. 

Yoga. Meditation. Gratefulness. Mindful eating. Gym – even if it is only once a week. 

The amount my thoughts have turned back toward self doubting and almost negative have been alarming but also fascinating. 

I have loved the idea of mindfulness for a long time now, loved what we can do with our thoughts alone. Being more in a routine of practicing it though, then having some time away from it really has helped me to see the difference. And that was with only touching the surface of it all. 

Recently I have been working with The Healthstyle Emporium, as a client and as a wellness coach. These guys have a system that seems to fit my values and beliefs. They have a wholesome program that focuses on building our mind body and soul through mindfulness, movement and food. They also work with a partner company Juice plus, who have a great product supplying a huge diversity of fruits and vegetables along with omegas and antioxidants. 

The HSE helped me to learn more about how to meditate. How to show and feel and practice gratitude. How to connect with other women in particular who value this, value their health and their growth. 

Having just a couple of weeks off has shown me how much being mindful and aware of ourselves can be so powerful. 

This is something I really want to be able to delve into further and learn more about. 

The stress it can reduce, the courage it can build, the doors it can open. 

I had even started working with the kids more with the gratitude and meditation. We all have our own gratitude rocks and we’re getting in a great morning and night routine with it all. 

I can’t wait to watch what difference it makes to their lives, especially at their ages now, one starting their teen years and the other not far behind. 

I have just started back up again this morning, and the difference I feel in myself already is amazing. Full disclosure, I probably started yesterday with a kickstart from a friend who is always very good at helping me see the pathways I have and encouraging me to open up to the good energies. 

You just need a start. Just make the one step to get on the track and it can take you anywhere 

I’d really like to reach out and see how many other people have changed their lives through any of these holistic practices, how they did it and what their turning point was
